Free Sports Picks for November 6th, 2008

November 6, 2008

Lots of sports action going for today with a pair of college football games and even an NFL game tonight!  The NBA has just two games, but we are sure to cover them as well!  One of our featured cappers again today is Mr. John Martin.  John is currently ranked #2 overall in college football and is on an incredible 22-7 (76%) run heading into action on Thursday.  Tonight he has his ACC game of the Month going on the Maryland/Virginia Tech game!  John is also all over the total on the Thursday night NFL game, releasing his NFL Total of the Week on the Browns/Broncos.  This play falls under a 23-1 totals system!  This is a play you need to check out.

Next up we have Steve Janus, who has been crushing the books this NFL season.  Steve is currently 22-12 (+950 units) over his last 34 NFL Plays, that’s a 65% clip!  Steve has the big winning side on tonight’s Broncos/Browns game!

Our featured free pick for the night comes in college football action from Jimmy Boyd!  Jimmy is hitting 65% over his last 20 NCAAF picks and tonight he has his Mountain West Conference GAME OF THE YEAR going on the TCU/Utah game!  Jimmy is also all over the NFL this year, hitting 5 of his 7 GOY plays!  Tonight he has his AFC Game of the Year locked in on the side of the Browns/Broncos game!

Now for Jimmy Boyd’s free opinion on tonight’s Maryland/VA Tech game:

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Virginia Tech -3
After back-to-back road losses, I like the Hokies to get jacked up for first place Maryland tonight and to pick up a big win against the Terps. This will be a huge test for the Terps who are 0-3 SU and ATS and have been outscored by over 31 ppg vs. Virginia Tech. Maryland has also struggled mightily on the road this season, getting blown out 31-0 by Virginia and losing by 10 at Middle Tennessee State. You have to like the Hokies in the Thursday night prime time spotlight as they are 12-3 ATS on Thursday nights the last 10 seasons while Maryland is just 1-6 SU and ATS in their last 7 on the same day. Maryland is just 10-22 ATS in road games versus good rushing defenses – allowing <=120 rushing yards/game since 1992, losing these games by 14.5 ppg on average. Lay the points.

GOOD LUCK TODAY!!!
