The Mariners have won 5 of his last 8 starts and they are an impressive 16-5 in their last 21 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and 21-8 in their last 29 games as a home favorite. Meanwhile, the Rangers have lost each of McCarthy’s last 3 starts and are just 2-10 in his last 12 starts as an underdog. Plus, they are only 1-6 in their last 7 games following a win.
