We like Algeria to defeat Togo on Thursday for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones: 

At home, Algeria have not lost a single AFCON qualifying match since 2007. 

The attacking play of Algerian star Riyad Mahrez will be able to pick a part a weak Togo defense. 

Perhaps missing their best player, Togo will be without Kodjo Fo Doh Laba for this match. 

Algeria have won both of their qualifying matches so far, with Togo drawing both of theirs. 

A win here would give even more distance to Algeria's Group E lead. They will be feeling extra confident after grabbing three more points. 

Overall, Algeria is the better side. They've got great play all-around the pitch and should be able to bag a few goals in today. We do not see Togo finding the back of the net, making Algeria -1.5 a great play.

We like the Minnesota Lynx @ New York Liberty game to finish OVER the total on Thursday for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

These were the best two teams during the regular season, and a big part was their offenses. They love to score.

New York averaged 85.6 points per game during the regular season. Minnesota averaged 82.0 points per game.

In their last nine meetings against each other in New York, the total has gone OVER in seven of them. (12 of the past 17 overall have gone OVER as well.)

The Lynx have seen five of their last seven games exceed the total, while the Liberty have seen four of their last five do the same thing.

Minnesota is small and Brenna Stewart will be able to take advantage. Don't expect them to go down without a fight though. The Lynx are speedy, tough and they have lots of ability from beyond the arc. Play on the OVER.

We like the San Francisco 49ers to defeat the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

After winning their first three games this season, Seattle have lost back to back conference games.

The Niners may still be without Christian McCaffrey. But, Jordan Mason has done an excellent job in his place.

Deebo was off last week. We expect him to rebound this week. In six games against Seattle, Samuel has 40 catches for 642 yards while rushing for 103 as well (6 touchdowns.)

In their last five games against each other, the 49ers have won everyone of them (5-0 SU/4-1 ATS.)

San Francisco own an 11-4 SU record in their last 15 meetings with Seattle as the favorite.

Seattle has shown recent struggles against NFC opponents going just 2-6 over their last eight games against them.

Although this -3.5 line isn't great, we believe that the Niners have what it takes to get back to .500 on the year and win by a touchdown or more on Thursday.
